SMS Terms and Conditions

We are Home Source LLC, doing business as Home Source Roofing (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”), a Maryland limited liability company located at 10226 Governor Lane Boulevard Unit 4010, Williamsport, MD 21795. These SMS Terms describe our text message (“SMS”) program and apply whenever you provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages from us, whether through a form on homesourceroofing.net or by texting START to (240) 730-4204.

1. Program Description

The Home Source Roofing SMS program sends text messages from Home Source Roofing to homeowners and prospective customers who have opted in, related to roofing, siding, gutter, window, door, and fence inquiries and projects. Every message under this program relates to a specific inquiry, appointment, estimate or project of your own. Messages are sent by or on behalf of Home Source LLC using Twilio, our SMS service provider.

2. How You Opt In

You may opt in to the SMS program in either of the following ways:

Website form. On our free-inspection request form, our homepage inspection form, our contact form, our financing form, and our roofing landing pages, you will see a checkbox — unchecked by default, directly above the submit button — next to this consent language, shown here word for word: “Yes, I'd like to receive text messages from Home Source Roofing about my inquiry, including appointment confirmations and quote updates. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.” You must actively check this box before submitting the form to opt in. The checkbox is never pre-checked and consent is never inferred from submitting the form alone.
Verbal or written opt-in at an appointment. You may also opt in at any time by texting START to (240) 730-4204. We do not treat a verbal request as consent: if you ask a Home Source Roofing representative in person to text you, they will direct you to our website form or to text START.

In every case, we record the date, time, and the exact consent language shown to you at the time you opted in, as proof of consent.

3. Message Types

Depending on where you are in your project, you may receive text messages including the following. Every message under this program relates to a specific inquiry, appointment, estimate or project of your own.

An automated response to your quote or inquiry request
Appointment confirmations, reminders, and reschedule notifications
Quote and estimate delivery
Project status updates and follow-up messages during an active engagement

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us and the stage of your inquiry or project. You should typically expect approximately 4 to 8 messages per month, though you may receive more during an active project and fewer otherwise.

5. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Text messaging rates are set by your mobile carrier and are outside of our control. Check with your carrier for details on your plan and any applicable charges.

6. HELP — Getting Support

Reply HELP to any text message from Home Source Roofing at any time. In response, you will receive a message containing information on how to get support and how to opt out, similar to: “Home Source Roofing: For support, call (301) 848-8508 or email brandon@homesourceroofing.biz. Reply STOP to opt out. Msg&data rates may apply.” You can also reach us using the contact information in Section 12 below.

7. STOP — How to Opt Out

You may opt out of receiving text messages from Home Source Roofing at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. We honor opt-out requests immediately — after you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation text message, and no further messages will be sent to that number unless and until you opt back in (for example, by replying START or by re-consenting through a web form or appointment). Opting out of SMS messages does not opt you out of phone calls, email, or mail communications from Home Source Roofing, and does not affect any roofing services you have separately contracted for.

8. Consent Is Not a Condition of Purchase

You do not need to consent to receive SMS messages to obtain any goods, services, estimate, or inspection from Home Source Roofing. Declining or opting out of text messages will never affect your ability to work with us.

9. Carrier Liability and Supported Carriers

All major U.S. mobile carriers are supported. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do our best to ensure messages are delivered promptly, but we cannot guarantee delivery or timing, and we are not responsible for message delays or failures caused by your carrier or device.

10. Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number is used only by Home Source LLC and our SMS service provider, Twilio, to deliver the messages described in these SMS Terms. 11. Changes to These SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our program or applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued receipt of text messages after a material change to these SMS Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
