  She was incredibly detailed and … More thorough, I was part of and witness to clear and consistent communication between her and her colleagues and the owner of the company to ensure they gave the best estimate and assessment that they were able to.
  She stayed with me until we were all satisfied there was a solution to be had, and we had agreed on a roof.
  It appeared very much to me that both Alissa, the owner, and her colleagues were dedicated to helping me, and were very sympathetic to my situation, doing their best to ensure that I was able to move forward confidently.
  The owner of the company even came by to do his own assessment and provide some reassurances.
  They made every effort to find financing for me and assist me with making sure I could afford the roof, despite my financial status.
  I remained in contact with one of the managers through the scheduling process and he provided me with a number where I could call for questions and reassurances on any thoughts I had.
  And it made me feel very good about working with them.
  **On the day of the installation, Project Manager Christian B. was on site at 7:00 a.m., where he remained throughout the day, available to both myself and his team of installers to ensure everybody had anything they needed and that things went smoothly, and if I had any questions I was able to have those answered.
  Christian B. did another assessment of my roof with his team and their professional opinions, and at the last moment we changed roofing types, but it did not cause much of a delay, and he personally went and retrieved the materials required.
  They were able to complete my roof same day despite the changes, and cleaned up beautifully after themselves, and left me with nothing but warm and wonderful feelings that now I have a safe roof to live under for decades to come for myself and my cats.
  I can't thank everyone enough–
  Christian B. for running the project immaculately, Alissa for initiating everything and letting me feel the project would be in good hands, Renee (I hope that's right) for being available and ready to answer questions as needed, Brandi for helping me keep the finances sorted, the owners for working hard to meet my unique situation, and of course the entire installation team for their skilled work under the hot sun.

They found cedar shakes under a metal roof and even though it was a surprise to us both, they were totally reasonable on removing them before re-sheathing the deck of the roof. I was over a barrel at that point but they did not take advantage of that. In the end, the job was awesome. I asked Alissa for an estimate on the gutters and she got back to me within an hour with a quote. I had them replace the gutters and they did an awesome job with that, also. The owners, Chris and Brandon, also checked in with me to be sure that I was satisfied with all of the work. I can't say enough good things about this company.

  On February 7, 2026, a severe windstorm pulled several shingles off my roof. When I went out the next day to collect some of the fallen pieces, I was surprised to see how deteriorated they were—what looked … More fine from the ground was actually in pretty bad shape up close.
  A trusted friend recommended Home Source Roofing out of Williamsport, Maryland, and I’m glad they did. Michele from Home Source came out on February 11 to assess the damage using both a drone and a ground inspection. She recommended immediate tarping due to incoming rain, and it was completed the very next day—just in time, because we had several days of heavy rain right after.
  I also had Home Source look at a gutter and downspout issue that was contributing to shingle problems. They recommended a solution, and I chose to have that work done in addition to the roof replacement.
  Shortly after, I received a very reasonable quote with two package options using GAF Timberline HDZ shingles in Hunter Green. I chose the Gold package, which offered additional protection with upgraded underlayment and enhanced vent covers. Both options featured 50-year shingles, which gave me great peace of mind.
  On March 18, the crew arrived right on time and got straight to work. The entire process was incredibly organized and efficient. They started by laying protective tarps over my porches and yard, then moved seamlessly through removing the old shingles, making necessary repairs, and installing the new roof.
  The onsite lead, Christian, kept everything running smoothly and maintained great communication throughout the project. The owner, Brian, also personally stopped by on the day of installation to ensure everything was proceeding as planned, which I really appreciated. In addition, Rene from Home Source stopped by to review and coordinate the upcoming gutter and downspout work, working directly with Superior Seamless Gutters LLC to ensure everything was aligned.
  At one point during the tear-off, my porch was completely covered in old shingles—it looked a little wild—but by the time they finished, everything was spotless. You would never know they had been there.
  I’ve included before-and-after photos to show the condition of the old shingles and the quality of the finished roof.
  Overall, this was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The professionalism, responsiveness, attention to detail, and cleanup exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Home Source Roofing to anyone in need of roofing services!

  I wanted to take a minute to show my appreciation and gratitude to everyone at Home Source Roofing for staying true to their core mission, despite my project taking several months to progress - not because … More of them, but due to insurance delays, then due to personal circumstances on my part, then the HOA, and then the weather.
  Everyone from the salesperson (Chase), the project manager (René), the admin person (Brandi), the owners (Brandon and Chris), were professional, respectful, responsive and very understanding.
  The main reason I feel compelled to write this review is because of the way they managed and responded to a concern I had, despite being a misunderstanding on my part.
  The craftsmanship was stellar, the communication was fantastic (despite having signed the agreement almost 8 months before the project was done), and the follow through was second to none, even though I had paid them the full amount. In my experience, many contractors will disappear or stop being as responsive once you pay your full balance, but this company had been so reliable throughout the whole project, that I felt confident paying the full amount even though I felt there was one item to resolve. Not going to lie…after the check was cashed, I thought “oh man, I hope they don’t break my heart”…and they did not!
  One of the owners called me to discuss my concern, and I can safely say I’ve never had a conversation like that with someone at a home improvement company and definitely not with the owner of the company. He understood where I was coming from, he was empathetic and clearly wanted to do the right thing. I’m happy to report the project was completed to my complete satisfaction!
  I hope they stay true to their mission for as long as they are in business - those are the companies who stand strong despite the ups and downs of the economy.
  Home Source Roofing will have my business for all of my exterior-related projects from now on!

  I can’t say enough good things about Home Source Roofing. From start to finish, they handled everything with professionalism, transparency, and persistence.
  At first, my insurance company claimed there … More was no damage to my roof. Home Source didn’t accept that answer. They took the time to properly document the damage, communicated directly with the insurance company, and fought on my behalf until the full roof and shed roof were approved. Without them, I would have been stuck paying out of pocket for something that should have been covered.
  Their communication throughout the entire process was excellent. I always knew what was going on, what the next step was, and what to expect. They were responsive, patient, and genuinely had my best interest in mind.
  The install itself was flawless. They upgraded my home with a GAF HDZ roofing system that provides increased wind coverage, giving me peace of mind that I won’t be dealing with wind damage again in the future.
  If you’re dealing with an insurance claim or just want a roofing company that will truly advocate for you, Home Source Roofing is the company to call. They don’t give up—and it shows.
